Thank you to Transport for Sick Children for meeting with me. They are a fantastic Stockport-based charity providing volunteer transport for children and young people travelling to hospital and clinic appointments across Greater Manchester.

It was inspiring to hear more about the dedication of their volunteers and the lifeline this service provides to families already facing incredibly difficult circumstances.

Like many charities, they are facing real challenges, balancing rising costs and increasing demand while working tirelessly to ensure children can still access the care they need. Their work makes a profound difference to families across our region, and they deserve enormous thanks for everything they do.

Only a week to go until our volunteer celebration, welcoming some of our current drivers and anyone interested in finding out a bit more about the charity. There'll be a light lunch and raffle, we're looking forward to celebrating with everyone😀Sector 3 - Stockport

It may nearly be the end of Volunteer week but here at For Sick Children we're extending it to Volunteer month! We're having a volunteer celebration on Tuesday 23rd June from 12-1.30pm at Withington Methodist Church (M20 4AN). A light lunch and a raffle for our current volunteers and anyone who's interested in finding out a bit more about what we do 😀

🌟 Mike and Steven Are Taking on the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run! 🌟

This Sunday, 31st May, Mike and Steven will be lacing up for the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run 10K — all to raise vital funds for Transport for Sick Children, a charity that makes sure children can get to essential medical appointments when no other transport is available.

🚗💙 Every pound they raise helps a child get the care they need.
🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Every step they take brings the charity closer to supporting even more families across Greater Manchester.
