💛 Celebrating Our Main Room — The Heart of the Hub

Step into our Main Room and you’ll feel it straight away — the buzz, the warmth, the welcome.
This space is where Portsmouth comes together, week after week, for connection, creativity, comfort, and community magic.

Here’s just a taste of what happens in this one incredible room:

• Bingo Wednesdays — laughter, friendly competition, and a mid‑week lift
• Music & themed socials — from Boogie Woogie Musical Bingo to feel‑good gatherings
• Craft groups — hands busy, hearts full, friendships forming
• Chatter Café — a warm table, a listening ear, and a place to belong
• Community meet‑ups — intergenerational moments, shared stories, and new connections
• Games & activities — gentle fun that brings people together
• Wellbeing sessions — calm, support, and space to breathe
• Pop‑up events — quizzes, showcases, celebrations, and community surprises

Every week, over 300 people walk through this room — each one adding their own spark to the story.

This is more than a space.
It’s a living, breathing community, built from courage, kindness, and the belief that everyone deserves somewhere to feel at home.

😈 BINGO WEDNESDAY — BEHAVE… OR DON’T 😇

It’s nearly that time again — Bingo Wednesday at 11am, where the numbers behave but the players definitely don’t.

🕚 Wednesdays at 11am
💛 £1 Early Bird • £10 Main Game • £5 End Game

Bring your lucky charms, your cheekiest grin, and your best “I wasn’t talking… honest!” face.
There may be giggles. There may be chaos. There will definitely be Bingo.

See you for mid‑week mischief, warm brews, and a room full of brilliant humans.

We are thrilled to be involved in the first Schwartz round

What to expect
Join us for three stories from people who help people or volunteer in our community, reflecting on why they 'do what they do'
Join us for our first Community Schwartz round in 2026
Schwartz Rounds offer a safe, confidential space to explore the human side of our work. Evidence shows they can help reduce stress and isolation, build empathy across roles, and strengthen team connection by breaking down hierarchies.
Originally developed for healthcare settings, Schwartz Rounds are now widely used in other areas, our programme focuses on people who volunteer or work in our communities or anyone that helps and supports people more generally.
Rounds are built on a simple idea: when people or staff feel supported, they're better able to show care and compassion to others-and that can make a real difference to people's experience.
