Today was our final collaging sessions for our Layers of Gosport project. The outcomes today have been incredible and we’ve loved all the conversations sparked from the activity 🌟 One thing is for sure… EVERYONE wants the lido back 🤣🤣

Thank you so much to everyone that has stopped by throughout the project this month and collaged, stencilled, doodled or just chatted with us. We’ve loved running these sessions and look forward to future projects, continuing to diversify our sessions 🎨

This SATURDAY 🌟 If you fancy sheltering from the heat, pop on down to where we will be running our final workshop for our Layers of Gosport project.

We’ll have images past and present of Gosport for you to collage, and then add bold text, doodles & patterns using spray pens, stencils & various shapes and sizes of acrylic markers. It’s TOTALLY FREE and accessible for the whole family to get involved!

After taking a break last year to recalibrate, we’ve been enjoying mixing it up this year - bringing back spray painting & also diversifying our sessions, but still keeping a street art edge ⚡️💪🏼

We’ve made a conscious decision to prioritise working on projects, with community groups, charities, schools & public events this year - focusing on upholding our true CIC values.

As all creative people know - there’s ideas… there’s ALWAYS ideas 🤣🤣 but we’re making a conscious effort to not overcommit & say no when we need to. Yes, Pop-up Spray Studios is our third baby, but our first two living, breathing babies (hmmm… pre-teens) are the priority ❤️

We know we haven’t offered any public bookable spray paint sessions in a while and we’d love to offer something soon…. WE MISS THEM TOO… It’s just a case of where, when & how to make it feasible. Keep an eye on our socials because soon as we have any news - here will be the first place you’ll see it! 🌟🙌🏼

We have received some really lovely feedback for our Layers of Gosport Project ☀️ Here is a small snippet that warmed our cockles ❤️

The stories and memories that have been shared during the creative activity has been absolutely beautiful 💙 Creativity breeds connection, and it has been wonderful to channel connections around pride of place with this project 💛

Our final stop is Saturday 30th May at Gosport Discovery Centre 11am - 3pm.

Strengthening community pride through art 🌟🎨🙌🏼

Did you know that when people feel connected through shared experiences and values, it can help reduce division and outgroup “othering”? In a world that can feel increasingly divided, isn’t it wonderful to be reminded of what brings people together?! ❤️

We had a wonderful day at King's Academy Bay House yesterday running our last workshop for an ongoing community project funded by Gosport Borough Council. Now we’re moving into the final stage of the project - more details to follow soon 🌊🌟

Time-hop memories from 1 year ago today… How time flies!! Crazy to think we’ve been running this thing for almost 3 years now!! Still learning, improving, adapting.

I remember very clearly being asked to cut Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo stencils for this creative group & they had some amazing outcomes to take home! 🎨
