Reading Allowed: Act 3 The Price of Coal by Barry Hines.

A very big round of applause to everyone who came along to participate in our third Reading Allowed evening on 28th September and for making it a successful and enjoyable experience. We welcomed 3 new members who happily got involved in reading Barry Hines’ hilarious drama “Meet the People”.

The script was read with enthusiasm, energy and delight and we all agreed it was so much fun. Rave reviews and requests to do it again followed.

So, by popular demand, we will aim to do one more session of Reading Allowed: Act 4 before Christmas on Monday 23rd November at 7.00pm - 9.00pm in the library. We will let you know nearer the time as to the final arrangements.

We would like also to thank those who provided and served refreshments, and to those who generously donated funds to help cover our costs.

Congratulations and bravo to our brilliant cast.
