WE’RE DOING WHAT?!

​Claire, Wil, Phil and Sophie are running 13.1 miles in the Great North Run, all in aid of Charlie's Place Animal Sanctuary.

​Here’s the deal: The more money we raise, the faster we’ll actually have to run. So if you want to see us finish in respectable times (and avoid any mid-race snack breaks), dig deep! Every single penny goes straight to the sanctuary for animal care, food, and vet bills.

We need a release site for a young hedgehog this evening if possible please. If you have already been approved as a release site please get in touch if you are free this evening and can accommodate a hog.

If interested but not approved, here are the criteria to be an approved site :

Hedgehogs already present
Not near a main road
No nearby badgers
No slug pellets used nearby
Ponds must have escape ramps
No aggressive dogs nearby
Must have a hedgehog house, this can be home made
Must be willing to give food and water each night

We'd like to say an ENORMOUS thank you to Ken Bonsall and the other members of the Ferocious Dog 3 Piece Acoustic, Shanks Pony and everyone in the audience who turned out at The Shamrock Social Club in Nottingham last night to help raise a whopping £742 for Charlie's Place. Both bands were absolutely fantastic as usual. We are hugely grateful. Without such amazing support we couldn't do what we do.
