Year 5 Falcons had an amazing VR day today with a specialist computing teacher from Gildgredge House.

They were able to plan, storyboard and then create their own 'cutscene' (video sequence) that might be used in a video game based on our English text 'Journey' by Aaron Becker.

Finally, they were able to enter the video world they had created using a VR headset- unreal!

Ospreys will have the same experience in 2 weeks' time.

The children had a wonderful day and experienced some fantastic, 21st century learning! Thank you to Mrs. Quinlan for organising this brilliant opportunity.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our Sports Days this week. Well done to all of the children who completed with such enthusiasm and effort. Thank you to parents/carers and extended family members who came to cheer the children on.

Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic trip at Port Lympne on Tuesday. Sunshine and clear skies topped off a great day of seeing the animals up close and on a safari experience. From tigers to camels, the year group got to encounter animals they have never seen before. A day we won't forget. Thank you to all the parent helpers.

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Gold Award for the 2025/26 academic year. The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.
A special thanks to our PE leaders Mrs Barrow and Mr Winton for their hard work in promoting and organising so many exciting sporting opportunities for our children.
