Become a Wildlife Detective in Walsall! 🌿🐞
Ever spotted a butterfly, beetle, bird or wildflower and wondered what it was?
Join us in Walsall's parks and green spaces to learn how to use iNaturalist, a free app that helps identify wildlife and record your sightings. Younger nature explorers can also try Seek by iNaturalist, a fun, family-friendly way to discover local wildlife. (Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent carer throughout the session.)
Spending time in nature is a great way to support your wellbeing and connect with the outdoors. 🌱
The sessions will help you:
✅ Learn how to identify wildlife
✅ Discover nature in your local green spaces
✅ Support nature recovery in Walsall
✅ No experience needed

Every wildlife record helps build a better picture of nature across the borough.
Bring your curiosity, a smartphone and a sense of adventure!
