Quick update – first trip to Ikea is now full but we have another trip going to Ikea Milton Keynes on 10th November. We will be leaving Barton at 9.00am and hopefully return by 3.30pm

Also, second date available for Millets Farm on 20th November although we do still have a few seats available on 6th November.

We are currently in the process of booking a trip to Wellesbourne Market and once date is confirmed we will share the details on facebook. This has been booked as a result of the coach trip feedback forms where several people indicated they would like a trip to the market. Thanks to everyone who completed the forms and many of the suggestions will form the basis of the trips we book for 2027. Hopefully we will be able to confirm the 2027 chosen destinations in January so you can start planning your Spring and Summer days out during winter!!

Just a quick reminder that exercise classes will return as follows:

Zumba Gold with George Monday 14th September 11.00am – 12 noon

Line Dancing with Laura Monday 21st September 6.30pm – 7.30pm

Zumba Toning with George Tuesday 22nd September 11.00am – 12 noon

Yoga with Georgie Tuesday 15th September 6.30pm – 7.30pm

Funk fit with George Wednesday 16th September 6.30pm – 7.30pm

Zumba with Rhiannon Thursday 17th September 6.00pm – 7.00pm

Vinyasa Yoga with Rhiannon Friday 18th September 11.00am – 12 noon

Body Toning with Wendy Saturday 19th September 9.30am – 10.30am

All the above classes will see no price increase from last term so five sessions will cost £10 (payable in advance) and everyone will need a current BCA membership that costs £2 per year.

And we also have a brand new dance class starting on Friday 18th September between 6.00pm – 7.00pm – more details to follow so just keep checking our page. First four weeks will be free to attend.

BACBS events are back at the Abingdon Arms in Beckley in September, after the August break. The September pub quiz will take place on Wednesday, 2nd September at the usual time of 7:30 pm. Booking, through the pub, for tables of between 4 & 6 people is essential for this popular event. The pub's delicious wood-fired pizzas will be available to buy, and a prize of a round of drinks for the winning team is kindly donated by the pub.

The September BACBS community walk will take place on Sunday, 20th September starting at 2pm. Details of the route and the walk leader will be circulated and will be available on the BACBS website nearer the time.

The September Sunday evening talk will be at 6:30 pm on Sunday, 27th September. Hannah Broad, Community Organising and Engagement Officer for RBOR (the Reconnecting Bernwood, Otmoor and the Ray programme led by BBOWT) will give an introduction to the RBOR programme before Dr. Helena Chance talks about the legacy of community activism in the region, tracing the fight to protect local environments - from early food and land protests to more recent campaigns defending green spaces for people and nature.

Please arrive in good time to buy a drink at the bar before the talk starts.

Hola! Buongiorno! Bonjour! Dzień dobry! Salam Alaikum! Our language cafes are friendly, free and relaxed. You can warm up your brain cells and learn a new language - or practise an old one. You will get a lot of support from others.
Mixed languages: Tuesday at 5pm,
