Yesterday, we held our regular Arts Health session with our partners at New Era - East Lancs. Everyone experimented with collage-making, using magazine clippings to create art inspired by their hobbies and interests. The activity helped attendees learn about composition, colour, ๐ and contrast, with plenty of glueing and cutting.โ๏ธ Before the session, one attendeeโs doll, Chloe, had lost her bracelet. We were happy to support Chloeโs mum by helping her make a new bracelet ๐ฟ Which she absolutely Loved! ๐ฅฐ lots of smiles. ๐ Stephie from Culturapedia joined us for the activity and spent time meeting everyone in our group. See below ๐ how AMAZING! ๐คฉ everyoneโs work turned out. Colourful Memories CIC sessions are free, relaxed and welcoming. The sessions support adults of any age with special educational needs, disabilities, people who feel isolated or experience anxiety. These sessions are especially helpful for people with neurodiversity. Each session is led by a qualified Arts Health practitioner. Our next session at New Era - East Lancs is on 1st July from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. For more information or to book a place, call 07877 714693 or email [email protected].โจFANTASTIC! โจ work everyone!
