This Sunday. Happy Birthday Trent Acoustic Roots and Folk.

Happy birthday to us, happy birthday to us, happy birthday dear TARAF, happy birthday to us!
Yes folks, despite our forced venue woes this past year, TARAF will be celebrating its 5th birthday on Sunday 6th September. That we’ve reached this milestone is very much down to you – our regular and loyal audience, talented performers and energetic organising team. Thank you all for your continued support.
It won’t be the usual sing-around, because as on previous anniversary events, we’re featuring a local group and celebrating the singing and playing of some of our most regular performers who have entertained us throughout the year.
Our featured band will be Bell and Co. This is Jenny Bell’s trio along with Wil Walker and Dan Kittmer. Jenny has been a regular at TARAF since its inception and her cleverly crafted self-penned songs always delight. Supporting Bell and Co will be Higgs Bo’sun, playing two short sets to mark the fact that all five of the Particles will all be at TARAF that evening!
Naturally, there will be the awesome TARAFFLE and there will be cake – after all, it’s a birthday party! We’ll meet at the Radcliffe Bowls Club, Glebe Lane, Radcliffe-on-Trent, and you should bring your own drinks, snacks and nibbles. Doors open at 19:00 with £7 entry on the door. Music will start promptly at 19:30, the evening will finish around 22:30.
Do come and celebrate with us and give TARAF a good sending off into its 6th year. TARAF simply cannot exist without your continued and valued support.
