I had the great pleasure of receiving a donation to Players Against Dementia of £2725 from Emma Murray earlier today. Emma raised this fantastic amount in her father Ivan’s name by walking 96 miles on the West Highland Way in Scotland. Ivan, seen here in the photo, is currently living with dementia and was one of the best players to ever grace the Irish League. We really appreciate Emma’s efforts and her support for our charity. Keep well Bob!

What a wonderful video from James Martin and his message speaks right to the Heart of Players Against Dementia NI. He speaks of the joy he gets from going to see Irish League matches every week and of seeing so many legends of the game play. He also talks of his sadness on hearing of how many former players are suffering from or have passed away because of dementia.
Thank you James for you support and we look forward to seeing both you and your dad Ivan at our Education, Awareness and Understanding event next Wednesday.
