We’ve been feeling the darkness of the last few days and we firmly stand with all victims of violence and intimidation in all its forms. Our communities are so much more than what we have seen and heard this week.

At the same time, we’ve seen some wonderful examples of love and compassion in the midst of the darkness: hope over fear.

🌟 Happy Volunteers Week! 🌟

It’s pretty appropriate that last week, we held our volunteer bbq and got to celebrate the incredible people who give their time, energy, and skills to support the work of The Link.

Whether it’s cooking up a storm at drop ins, offering a listening ear, teaching our English classes, or lending a helping hand in the shop, our volunteers make a real difference every day. Their dedication helps create a stronger, more connected, and more inclusive community for everyone.

To all our volunteers: thank you for your commitment, kindness, and generosity. We couldn’t do what we do without you.

As Mark officially retires from his role as Director of The Link, we want to say a huge thank you for steering the ship so brilliantly over the last five years.

The Link is an incredibly special community that makes a real difference in people’s lives every single day, and it simply wouldn’t be what it is today without the compassionate, thoughtful and visionary leadership and dedication that Mark has given.

We’ll miss him massively (though his lunchtime fish, maybe not so much!!)

Welcome to our new Director.
