I know through contact with residents, via my office, that road safety is a high priority for many.

Ards and North Down PCSP is hosting one of its regular public events, focusing on just that issue. All residents wishing to engage are welcome

I know, I know, it's a bit early to be using the C word but Bowtown Community Development Group are in planning mode for their Christmas support appeal. It provides gifts for children and young people in local families who need a little extra help. Last year, more than 250 children were supported — and demand continues to grow.

Individuals, businesses and organisations can help by donating gifts, organising a collection or hosting a Giving Tree. Gifts for 12–18 year olds are particularly needed. Or if you know a child or family who may benefit, please get in touch with Christina at Bowtown Community Development Group- details below

A fantastic project and every donation, large or small, can make a real difference.
