From last night... It never really got pitch dark - mid summer's night is almost upon us!

Great mention for D&G and the Scottish lowlands this morning. It serves as a reminder for campervanners and motorhomers travelling from the south, especially those interested in wildlife & nature, to turn left at Gretna and follow the A75 through Galloway - stop in at Frugaldom if you're passing. 😊

A bit of sunshine and breeze today so the midges weren't so bad so Ginger had his little daily browsing walk along the drive without his fly sheet this morning.

Jays and Great Spotted Woodpeckers can often be seen around our feeding stations. Friends of Frugaldom can make the most of wildlife watching from hut 2, where the badgers and pine martens are regularly seen at night. We are simply two people volunteering our time to create a little countryside haven for wildlife and home for some rescue ponies, 2 goats and the feral / stray cats who found their way here.
