We are looking for a Room Leader who is enthusiastic and committed and will be responsible for running our Pre-School room.
As Room Leader, you will not only give guidance and support to the other practitioners in the room, you will be the primary source of information, advice and support for families, while also helping the leadership team to continually improve and develop the setting.
The Room Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Pre-School and maintaining a high-quality, safe and stimulating environment for the children. They will be in charge of delivering a play-based curriculum that supports children's individual development and helps them progress towards early learning outcomes.
They will manage planning and make sure those resources are available, organise and publish the weekly memo, take part in team meetings, oversee the members of staff in the room while delegating the jobs for the day and bringing the enthusiasm needed for this environment.
We would like to hear from applicants who are:
• Qualified Level 3 as a minimum
• A great communicator and have strong organisational skills
• Imaginative, fun and inspirational when it comes to educational activities
• Able to work within a team and able to use their initiative
The role is for 37 hours a week term time at £14 per hour for the following hours:
Monday – 8:30 - 3:00
Tuesday - 8:30 - 3:00
Wednesday – 8:45 – 4.00
Thursday - 8:45 – 4.00
Friday – 8:30 – 6:00
