The Newcastleton Community First Responders are a dedicated group of local volunteers who have been serving the community for over 14 years. Trained by the Scottish Ambulance Service, our responders attend certain types of emergency calls in and around Newcastleton.
Our primary goal is to reach potential life-threatening emergencies during those crucial first minutes before ambulance crews arrive. We work to stabilise patients and provide appropriate care until professional medical support takes over.
Being a First Responder is an incredibly rewarding role. If you're interested in finding out more or getting involved, we'd love to hear from you!
