THIS WEEK! Calling all artists and creatives! Our guest speakers are the team behind the up-coming Summit's UP! Development day in Stoke and we're getting a preview of the day at the next Connects Network session. Really excited to hear about the many, many things that are happening later in the month.

The meeting starts at 10:30am and is completely free, thanks in part to the wonderful Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID and Smithfield Works.

Connects Network has been bringing Staffordshire's business owners, artists, charities and entrepreneurs together since 2014, touring venues and projects around the town for a relaxed, informal catch-up over a hot drink.

There's no cost to attend, no annual fee, and definitely no pressure to pass referrals. We believe that will happen naturally once you get to know us and the regulars. Each session also features a guest speaker sharing a positive local story, and everyone gets 60 seconds to promote their own business, charity or event.

We're heading back to one of our favourite venues for one of September’s Connects Network Meeting: the wonderful Philip Astley Centre on Merrial Street. If you haven't been before, it's well worth the visit in its own right: the world's first heritage centre dedicated to Philip Astley, Newcastle-under-Lyme's own Military Hero and the "Original Ringmaster" who revolutionised the circus as we know it. A brilliant blend of history and contemporary culture, right in the heart of town.

Connects Network today, kindly hosted at Keele in Town, free networking event for businesses, freelancers, SME’s, community groups and arts organisations.
Guests today range from designers, animators, building societies, investment managers, local arts venues, radio stations, social media influencers, local charities, social services, printers and telecoms providers!!!
Looking forward to hearing from our guest speaker today, Sarah Watson of Unshrinkable who will be exploring mental health in the work place and stress management techniques, in her Busy but not Burnt Out approach and hopefully Sarah may have brought some sweets with her too! There’s definitely props involved, should be fun 🙂
