There is life after a stroke!
We are a voluntary group for young stroke survivors in North Staffordshire. We are also here for the family and friends of the stroke affected person. The group is run by people affect by stroke at a young age, so we really do understand the problems that stroke brings to all.
Our aim to help each other to overcome the problems faced when a stroke shatters lives. We are a positive pro-active group seeking to support each other through the tough bits following stroke, but we also aim to prove that there is life after stroke! We aim to raise the profile of young stroke, and so raise awareness of young stroke as a health issue.
We hold meetings on the first Wednesday afternoon of most months, which are relaxed, social occasions.
