🌺 Remembrance Sunday in Newbury – Sunday 8 November 2026

Newbury will come together on Remembrance Sunday to honour the courage, service and sacrifice of all those who have served in defence of our country and our freedoms.

The parade will step off from Pelican Lane at 10.30am, proceeding along Northbrook Street, where the Mayor of Newbury, Cllr Jo Day, will take the salute, before continuing to the Market Place for the Service of Remembrance.

Following the service, wreaths will be laid at the War Memorial before the parade continues to St Nicolas Church.

A qualified British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter will be present at the service. Those wishing to view the interpreter are asked to stand in the roadway near Zizzi, where a clear view will be available.

Everyone is welcome to join the community in this important act of remembrance.
