BioCap Limited was founded with the sole purpose of creating a coherent plan of action for the management of our Natural Environment.

Addressing the Biodiversity and Climate crisis through Community led Landscape eco-system restoration and Carbon Capture. BioCap is a not for profit company that is using data to develop a robust holisitic plan for, initially, West Berkshire's Countryside to combat Biodiversity loss and the Climate Crisis. BioCap will engage the local community in the plan and seek to be an agent for change in a p

Really enjoyed working with the young people from meadow park. Hope they got a feel for what habitat creation and nature can deliver.

BioCap Story

BioCap was founded to try and create an action orientated organisation able to deal with the crises in Biodiversity and Carbon emissions. Our aim is to engage a local community and then work with landowners and managers to bring about real change in the countryside - enhancing Biodiversity and sequestering carbon. The UK Governments Natural Capital Committee recommends local delivery of Environmental Net Gain in our wider countryside and suggest that the right tree is planted in the right place at the right time for the right reason.

BioCap has been set up as a not for profit company by local West Berkshire residents to develop a plan that our community can engage with and implement. We then aim to export the methodology across the UK to bring about significant change.
