The show started in 1897 and continues to grow year on year, attracting over 5,000 entries from across the world. Today it is proud to be the biggest and best cheese and dairy show in the world.
The awards are a two-day event held on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of July. Day one is the judging and trade day, attended by industry participants and press. Approximately 200 judges from the cheese and dairy industry will sample all the entries all hoping to win the Supreme Champion trophy for the best cheese overall in show.
Day two is scheduled to coincide with the Nantwich and South Cheshire Agricultural Show, and attracts over 40,000 visitors. It is a fantastic day out for all the family with plenty to see and do with main ring attractions, displays and of course, loads of cheese to taste and buy.
