Last night at our meeting, our members Ann showed us how to make a gift envelope by folding pretty printed card. Lots of fun and we look forward to doing something else in the future. Thank you Ann for your patience with us.

Three members along with five members from Tranent & District attended the 56th Birthday dinner of our friends on Galashiels. A lovely meal with a lot of chat and laughter. Always an excellent evening.

At last night's meeting there was cause for celebration as some of our members have recently had birthdays ending in "0".
Our speaker was Jane Powell from Ronald McDonald House Charity, the Association President's charity for this year. She spoke about how families could stay close by when they had a seriously ill child in hospital and how it gave them a chance to speak with other families in similar situations.

Fantastic evening rounding off a great Conference!

Members of the Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in GB&I have just returned from the annual conference. Held in Llandudno and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
This is just one highlight, dancing the night away on the last evening to The Zoots, a terrific band who entertained us brilliantly. President Pam leading the team in style, the dress she wore was made out of the Inner Wheel Centenary Scarf - a challenge set for members and of course Pam lead the way.

4.07kg of ring pulls packed and ready to go to Conference! Over 99,000 of them. Thank you to everyone who collected them for us. The Purple Community Fund will put these to go use. Giving women employment and letting their children go to school.
