Providing emotional and practical support to families touched by cancer; free transport to cancer treatments, counselling, complementary therapies, craft classes, parent toddler group, welfare and benefits advice and respite accommodation. Its objective is to provide emotional and practical support to families who are living in Rhondda Cynon Taf and whose lives are touched by cancer. The drop-in
centre in Mountain Ash, provides a friendly place for clients and / or their families to call in for an informal chat with staff and volunteers. Just down the road from the Drop in centre, the Charity runs a Charity shop selling a wide assortment of second hand goods, including clothes, books, and bric-a-brac. While services such as counseling, complementary therapies, art therapy are all available at the drop in centre, the core activity of the charity is to help cancer sufferers who find it difficult to reach their treatments and therapies, by providing suitable and sympathetic transport.
