🌼 Yesterday we slowed down and looked a little closer.

On our Community W**d Walk, we explored Midsomer Norton High Street, uncovering the wildflowers growing between the paving stones and giving them the recognition they deserve. Together we labelled these resilient little plants, drawing attention to their beauty, their traditional medicinal uses, and the vital role they play in supporting wildlife.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. It was a wonderful reminder that nature is all around us, if we take the time to notice it.

🌱 What happens when a community comes together for nature?

Come and see for yourself on this unique guided walk through the Somer Valley.

Over 7 miles, we'll explore parks, grasslands and nature spaces that have been restored thanks to the dedication of local volunteers. Discover hidden wildlife havens, hear inspiring stories of transformation, and see first-hand the difference people can make for nature and wellbeing.

Whether you're a keen walker, love local history, or simply enjoy being outdoors, we'd love you to join us.

Walk and Draw
A chance to come together with a group who value creativity and the magic found in nature’s nooks and crannies. We follow a gentle route, pausing often for sketch-booking and moments of observation along the way. Basic paper and pencils provided or bring your own sketchbook and drawing tools. Get curious about flora, fungi, with no pressure to “make good art” – just to notice, explore, and respond. This event is about slowing down, unwinding, exploration and creativity, with fresh air, a pencil in hand, and some good chatter.
This walk is for adults only and we ask that dogs are left at home.
