Hot weather can catch people out quickly ☀️🥵
Feeling dizzy, sweaty, weak or faint could be a sign of heat exhaustion — and knowing what to do early can make all the difference.
🚑 Remember:
✔️ Move to a cool place
✔️ Lie down and raise the legs
✔️ Drink plenty of water
✔️ Cool the skin with damp cloths or a fan
⚠️ If symptoms get worse or don’t improve, seek medical help immediately as it could develop into heatstroke.
Please keep an eye on friends, family, neighbours, and vulnerable people during warmer weather 💛
Stay safe and stay cool everyone!

Once again, it’s that time of year when our St John Ambulance Teesside team laces up for our annual fundraising walk. This year, we’ll be making the journey from Saltburn to Middlesbrough to help raise vital funds that support the work we do in our community.

If you’d like to donate, please reach out to any member of the Teesside team or visit our JustGiving page using the link provided. Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference.

Thank you for your continued support — it means the world to our volunteers and the people we serve.

The UK Health Security Agency said anyone with meningitis and septicaemia symptoms should seek medical help urgently. Make sure you know how to spot the signs in yourself and those around you.
