Last Thursday we were joined by Katie Bremner from Charlie House who gave us an insight into their work with local families.
We decorated smarties tubes for our “make” which we’d placed donation inside, and these were then donated to Charlie House. A wonderful array of design talent!!
A very worthwhile charity which helps the whole family of children with life limiting conditions.
We’ve received a letter of thanks from Katie which should make all you very proud of your efforts!

Hi there,

I work in the emergency department at ARI, this is a plea for anyone that knows of any local groups that can crochet/knit something called ‘twiddle muffs’ and donate to the emergency department.

Unfortunately patients are waiting longer than normal which can be distressing and even more so for patients with a cognitive impairment.

If anyone knows of any groups that are willing to help us out it would be greatly appreciated 💕
