Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre Dedicated to the men and women of 106 Squadron who served at RAF Metheringham from November 1943 until the end of the Second World War.

Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre is a volunteer run museum. It is dedicated to the memory of those who gave their lives in WWII especially 106 Squadron and those who served at RAF Metheringham. Per person: £6.50
Per person: £7.15 with a voluntary donation for Gift Aid
Age 16 and under: Free or donation welcome
Members: Free on production of a valid membership card

The admission price covers a

dmission to the museum, entry to the Dakota hangar which includes a chance to climb aboard. It also supports the work we do to preserve the buildings and artefacts in our care. We are open the last weekend in March until the end of October on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, 10am - 4pm. We are NOT opening on Bank Holidays this season. Registered Charity No. 1194347.

10th June 1942 Weather Fine Training Day and night. S/L Wooldridge was appointed to command “B” flight. S/L Wooldridge was an experienced pilot with more than 40 operations with 44 and 61 Squadrons and a short time at 207 squadron prior to joining 106.
