We’re often out surveying and clearing paths, and sometimes we lead walks - and run a walking festival!

We meet in Marsden Liberal Club at 7.30 on the first Monday of the month. Come along if you want to join in or just interested in what we do. Welcome to Marsden, a pennine village rich in character offering great walking experiences and a wealth of history and heritage as well as local produce, locally brewed ales, unique gifts and charming places to eat, visit and stay.

Jo and Mark were representing MWaW today at the Holme Valley MRT open day, alongside Marsden Moor NT and West Yorkshire Police wildlife crime team. Great to meet lots of people and talk about what we do (and about the weather of course haha).

Sponsored walk, done. Thank you to everyone (named and anonymous) who supported us and helped us get beyond our target! You really did keep our spirits up as we got drenched and blown about over the 16 miles, on what was the worse day of weekend 😀

The money raised will be split between MWaW and Experience Community who offer Inclusive and accessible outdoor experiences for all.

Cracking progress. Heading out onto the final loop of our epic challenge walk. Piper Holes will complete our 16 mile hike. 2,000 ft of up and done through the Marsden weather.
