Yesterday, Chanell popped down to the home of Wycombe Wanderers, Adams Park, to watch a charity football match hosted by Keys Group.

Accompanied by our youngest two supporters 🥰 , Chanell cheered on the kids and adults who took part. The fundraising has raised nearly £600 so far for The Link Foundation 🏅⚽️. Fantastic !

We are so grateful to Alex and the team who organised the event, helping raise awareness of kids who need a little helping hand in our community 👏🏻 👏🏻 Hopefully you have managed to rest those tired legs today .

💙 Eva's Story 💙

Eva is 11 years old and will be starting senior school this September. Like many children her age, she is looking forward to a new chapter, making new friends and settling into a new routine.

At home, however, things have been a little more challenging. Eva has been sharing a bed with her younger sibling, and as she gets older, having a space of her own has become increasingly important.

Following a referral, The Link Foundation was pleased to be able to help by providing Eva with a bed of her own before she starts senior school. It is a simple item that many people take for granted, but for Eva it means better sleep, more privacy and a little more independence as she prepares for this important milestone.

We know that many families are doing their best in difficult circumstances, and every day we see how quickly situations can change. Through referrals from local agencies and organisations, we try to help where we can with essential household items and practical support for those who need it.

We are grateful that, with your support, we were able to play a small part in helping Eva get ready for September. We wish her every success as she begins her senior school journey.

At just 17 years old, Jess faced the heartbreak of losing both of her parents and having to leave the family home she had always known. After a spell of uncertainty, Jess and her baby have recently been given an unfurnished property and the daunting task of starting over with very little.

That’s where The Link Foundation has stepped in. Our team has worked with her support worker to provide the essential household items needed to help turn an empty property into a safe and comfortable home for Jess and her baby. With the right support, families like Jess’s can begin to rebuild their lives with hope and stability.

Thank you for supporting our work and raising awareness of vulnerable children in our community.

A small donation can make a big difference. 💫

Every week we support vulnerable children and families facing financial hardship, homelessness, domestic abuse and crisis situations.

These are the items currently needed most by the families referred to us by teachers, social workers and health professionals.

Thank you for helping us give children a safer, warmer and more comfortable start in life. 💛

Today at Link Foundation HQ we are working to support 37 families who are living in crisis due to domestic violence , severe health challenges and bereavement.

The parents of one young Mum have died and she was been made homeless. Having lived in temporary accommodation she has now been given a council flat and needs everything (kettle, microwave, fridge, bedding, etc) .

Police were involved with another young Mum after her ex partner entered her flat and ‘smashed everything up’ , we are able to provide her with a cooker so that she can provide hot meals for her toddler.

Thank you for following our work , by sharing our posts you help raise awareness of families struggling in our area 🥰
