The CUBE on Symingtons

The CUBE on Symingtons The CUBE on Symingtons is a place for young people 11-18 years in Market Harborough and the surrounding villages. The CUBE on Symingtons was opened in 2014.

We provide youthwork, schools work and youth counselling. The charity was originally set up in 2005 by local Christians in Harborough and operated out of the Settling Rooms to give young people a place to get together with their friends to eat food and have fun. We now have a fantastic purpose built facility on Symingtons Rec where we run youth groups and projects, engage with schools and churches

and operate a youth counselling service accessible to local young people. For further information please message us.

A is particularly special to us, having previously been part of our staff team as a youth worker.
When family commitments meant she could no longer continue in that role, she chose to stay involved as a volunteer at OASIS — a real reflection of her heart for the young people we support.

Abi has a background in mental health within the NHS and is currently training to be a counsellor. She is also one of our volunteer mentors, supporting young people who may be struggling with confidence or who simply need someone to talk to.
She offers a space where young people can be listened to without judgement — someone outside of school or home to talk through what’s on their mind.
Abi says

Steve is a long-standing volunteer at The Cube, supporting our open-access youth group, OASIS.
He enjoys getting involved in crafts and spending time talking with young people. Alongside this, he runs an eco-friendly refill business and is passionate about the future for the next generation.
