The wonderfully detailed N Gauge Corsham from Martin Reynolds and the TT120 Black Bridge that was developed for our book series by Dave Ashwood. Original club members from the 2019 vandalised Stamford show on stage in Nottingham Playhouse with cast and crew last night.

Auntie Beeb has interest in the stage play which statrted last Monday and continues at the Nottingham Playhouse for the next few weeks.

The Market Deeping Model Railway Club is on at Nottingham Playhouse.

The Club was interviewed alongside Adrian Scarborough on BBC Breakfast this morning as part of the promo for the upcoming stage play.

Based on the true story of a group of model railway enthusiasts whose lifetime of work is destroyed by a mindless act of vandalism., this is a warm-hearted story examining community and British eccentricity.

Recovering from the first weekend at exhibition in a while, a huge thank you to Market Deeping Model Railway Club for having us and on a subject very dear to my heart, feeding and watering us.
Usually traders dont get a meal provided, in fact my own club Sleaford MRC are the only other ones that do this for us. Its a small gesture that means a lot, whilst we are there to make money, a lot of people that attend are coming for items that aren't worth paying postage for online and for bargains not driven up in price by online auctions.
The halls and exhibitors expenses are usually covered in a big way by the traders rents and times are hard for us all, so to see a club give something back when they dont have to is very much appreciated and shouldn't go unnoticed.

The dust has settled on a this year's show and we're blown away by the fantastic initial feedback we've received.

We would like to say a huge thank you to: William Ivory for opening the show, all the paying public that visited the show, the layout owners and operators, the traders, the partners and parents of MDMRC members that helped run Cafe 800, the volunteer stewards from other clubs, the facilities management team at Stamford Welland Academy who put up with us moving furniture all over the place, and our sponsors Country Court, Trains4U and Grasmere Farm.
