We’re stepping into something new.

Tonight is our first music-curated event as part of an ongoing series…

We really couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful artist and human to begin this with ✨ Someone who embodies so much of what this series is about.

A practice in what it means to invite artists into Margate with care, intention, and relationship at the centre.

Not just performance.
But connection.
Culture.
Healing.
Joy.

Last week, Ni Maxine also joined on , and now she’s in conversation with People Dem Collectives at HQ reflecting on what it means to hold space, to gather, and to build something rooted in community.

This work sits within a wider commitment to care, culture, and community in practice…

Thinking about how culture is held, not extracted.

How space is created with, not just for.

How artists and communities can meet in ways that feel reciprocal, grounded, and alive.

This is just the beginning of us testing, learning, and shaping what this can become.

We’re looking for an
Operations & Community Spaces Manager
to join People Dem Collective.

This role holds the day-to-day life of our co-working, studio and event spaces, supporting the systems, people and relationships that make the work possible.

We’re building while operating. We’re looking for someone organised, steady and thoughtful, who understands what it means to hold shared space well.

We are less interested in formal titles, and more interested in how you work.
