Children are often caught in the middle of domestic abuse, and they are often forgotten when talking about the risk posed towards victims.

If these plans go ahead, children will be vulnerable to further trauma.

In plans set to terrify survivors, 3,000 perpetrators will be freed annually before serving full sentences, the Daily Mail can reveal.
