DofE Kent Army Cadet Force

DofE Kent Army Cadet Force National Youth Organisation The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award began in 1956 and is dedicated to the personal development of young people from all backgrounds.

The Army Cadet force is one of the largest Operating Authorities, allowing participation by its cadets and young instructors. Over three levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold, it challenges them to take part in a wide variety of activities under four main categories,
Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expeditions (and a residential at Gold). You can take part aged from 13 years 9 months onwards, and may

use parts of the APC training towards parts of the Award, or you can do something totally outside of the ACF syllabus. On completion of each level you will be issued with a Certificate and Brassard Badge. For more information see your Detachment Commanders, or visit the Duke of Edinburgh's Award website.
