The Animal and Plant Health Agency have confirmed a Yellow Legged Hornet (previously known as Asian Hornet) nest has been found in Langley this week. This was reported by a householder.

Things to know: this is an invasive species that puts our pollinators at risk (a nest able to consume over 11kg of insects per year). The UK is fighting against them becoming established. As an entrance way to Europe, Kent has been one of the primary landing sites.
