I’d like to say a big thank you on behalf of the VPRA to Arron Young of Young fences and ground work. For cutting down a couple of trees in the garden of Vinters Park Community Centre, Arron didn’t charge us as he said “ he likes to do his bit for the community” what a lovely thing to do. Arron lives on the estate and his work I know for a fact is exceptional. Thanks again Arron we really appreciated your kindness.

Thank you to all the owners of the excellent vehicles who came along to our local car show this morning at the community centre. It was very well attended and we had a good mix of vehicles on show including the 131 bus from London which may have got lost.
Thank you also to the local residents that came out and got their bacon roll and drink as it all helps your community centre.
Thank you also to those attendees whom after the show took their vehicles round to the Eastfield Care Home to give the residents something different to do on a bank holiday Monday. Thanks to Tom for the drone footage.

This morning it's the Vinters Community Car Show where owners of local vehicles display them for you to have a look over. There should be an interesting collection there this year.
The centre will be serving tea/coffee and bacon rolls so come along and have a delayed breakfast whilst you admire the vehicles. Please bring cash. 10:00 - 12:30. See you there.
