🎃 Lots of smiles this week and plenty of activities to get us ready for the cosy season.

😄 With pumpkin carving, dressing up, splattered with some amazing life skills and with the underlying theme of making choices.

🫶Forging Futures is such a special space for our amazing people- another fabulous week x

These are such special times. It’s been a busy few days-with sewing some new aprons for when our lovely people are cooking. Creating new experiences which builds confidence.

Having fun and sharing some special times is what we are all about at .

Random act of kindness has been the theme this week- with some special deliveries taking place in Lutterworth.

It’s been wonderful and busy week at FF… filled with cooking, crafting and shopping.

All to create opportunities and provide independent living skills and promote decision making. Making own choices is such an important aspect of what we do.

🎓I'm 23 and I grew up in Lutterworth
before moving to Manchester for uni.

💜I'm the younger brother of Milly who you might be familiar with.

🎸In my free time I like to travel around the country and listen to music.

through the fields it is definitely my calm after a
hectic day.

🎶I love music, I listen to music constantly and am always singing something.

🍓I am a massive foodie and love going out and trying new things.

😀I thrive on seeing people happy and always go that extra mile to make anyone smile 💗

Hello,

🐴I absolutely love being outdoors so I’m often at the yard with the horses or walking the dogs
(happiest in a field in the middle of nowhere!)

🏃‍♀️Running is a big interest of mine and I enjoy the challenge of training for a race. I also spend a lot of time with my family and love playing a good game.

I look forward to some great times at Forging Futures.

First up is Mandy….

Hi, let me introduce myself.

My name is Mandy Smith and I'm the new
Manager at Forging Futures.

Here's a bit about me.

🌈I am a Lutterworth girl and have worked with
adults with Learning Disabilities for 10 years at
the start of my career. The last 20 years I've
been at Little and Big Rainbows as a hands on
Manager. I'm a very people centred person and love being involved in the Community projects.

👩‍🍳I love cooking, knitting, being creative and
thinking outside of the box. I am hard of hearing
and lip read well.

🪄I really looking forward to making magic happen at Forging Futures with our new team and can't wait to meet you all.

It’s been a fabulous day, soup smells amazing, ready for the . We have made lemon drizzle which smells fabulous. We even saved some for Shep and Tom x

It’s the start of another exciting week at Forging Futures. With Mandy panning some amazing activities, ensuring life skills and independence is embedded.

At Forging Futures it’s about creating an engaging, supportive environment which encourages connections with friends and the community.

Todays been a quiet creative day with us with some cosy Autumn vibes.🍁🎃🍂

We’ve embraced the season and made some autumn crafts with these lovely pumpkin spiced latte decorations and also done some colour by numbers.

A nice peaceful day with lovely people as always ❤️
