For World Ocean Day, Focused On Nature and The Ismaili are pleased to share a message from Prince Hussain Aga Khan on the urgent need to protect, conserve, and heal our seas.

Covering more than 70% of the planet, the ocean sustains life on Earth—from the oxygen we breathe and the climate we depend on, to the extraordinary biodiversity and coastal communities it supports.

The challenges are profound: climate change, overfishing, pollution, acidification, and the growing pressures of extraction. But so too are the reasons for hope.

Across the world, marine protected areas are expanding, species are recovering, young conservationists are leading, and new solutions are emerging.

For the sake of our planet, wildlife, wild places, and ourselves, we cannot give up on the ocean.

In this episode of , Soraiya meets Emmanuel, a farmer who has switched to regenerative farming and is already reaping the rewards.
