Highlights from our past upcycling workshop hosted here at the FibreLab studio, crafting handmade laptop cases from locally sourced denim waste. ♻️

It was so wonderful to be joined by such a lovely group of students from , and to watch them collaborate, pick up new skills (including operating a sewing machine for the first time 🪡), and learn more about upcycling. ✨

Their creations will now be going to Screen Share, a leading charity in digital inclusion for refugees. They will be entered in a raffle to raise funds for the organisation. 🙌

A huge thank you to for all of her hard work in coming up with the design templates for the cases. 🙏

As part of our sorting process, we carefully go through each textile waste stream to assess whether the condition of the fabrics could be reused in other innovative ways.💡♻️ Our rescued fabrics have been transformed into some amazing upcycling projects, featured here by some incredibly inspiring and talented sustainable artisans and entrepreneurs. 🙌

Slide 1: Features one of the pieces from ’s White Rêverie collection, made from hotel white linen sheets.

Slide 2: A beautiful slouch tote bag with blue thread detail made by .co, using our white cotton canvas to model her zero-waste tote bag pattern.

Slide 3: created these beautiful shibori patterns on white linen sheets, using natural dyes from coffee, tea and cutch extract for an upcycling project.

We have a large amount of 100% cotton fabrics available for reuse within your own project. DM us to schedule a time to drop by the FibreLab studio to collect fabrics from £5 per kilo. ✅

Accepting responsibility for both our purchasing habits and post-purchase decisions plays an important role in creating a more sustainable fashion industry. ✅

Here at FibreLab, we acknowledge that circular fashion needs to be both practical and accessible to have a wider impact. Through our workshops, alongside sharing insights into the textile recycling process, we encourage people to explore creative ways to keep unwanted textiles in use for longer. ♻️💡

Today marks the bittersweet closing of The Loop, a creative space that has played a monumental role in FibreLab’s growth over the past few years. 🙌

However, the Loop has been far more than just a workspace for our team here at FibreLab. In addition to providing a place to ideate, experiment, and bring new ideas to life, The Loop has allowed us to connect, collaborate, and share our innovative practices with the local community. ♻️💡 It’s been a pleasure to share this space and work alongside so many other forward-thinking, sustainability-driven creators and businesses. 🤝

Over the years, The Loop has brought together an incredible mix of people from around the world, united by a shared mission to advance circularity and drive sustainability forward. At our last event hosted at the Loop, we even had the wonderful opportunity to hear from London’s Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy .

For their dedication to helping advance sustainable practice, we want to thank for providing FibreLab and many other start-ups with affordability, connectivity and inspiration, helping us to grow our businesses and showcase our work to the local community 🙏

In collaboration with .forms we created a bespoke packaging design for their ‘Mini Vessels’. Our packaging was crafted using our Calico PaperTex material and finished with a two layer, letter-press print with a soft beige background and black ink lettering.

Inspired by London floral silhouettes, we developed a design that was carefully pressed into the packaging to creates texture, depth and a unique feel to each piece. ✨

Created for , the sponsors of the ‘Flourish in the City’ garden at Chelsea Garden Show 2026 designed by 🌿🌷
