Even Better Together in action: creativity, sense of wellbeing, sustainability and community learning side by side.

Over the last few weeks, our Waste to Treasure workshops have taken place at Pymmes Park Visitors Centre, Enfield Island Village and after-school club.

Participants created a beautiful range of pieces, including bracelets, hijab pins, beads, sun catchers and bookmarks using waterbottles and packaging and wallpaper scraps.

Each creation started with upcycled materials such as waterbottles, packaging and wallpaper scraps as well as natural materials auch as sticks and pinecones at its core. They were then elevated with decorative finishing touches.

Mind at Fore street’s Mental Health Awareness event. Local organisations connected, while residents received valuable advice, support, and guidance on looking after their well being.

What a fantastic community feel good day at Island Village.In honor of World Mental Health Day this October, we came together for a wonderful afternoon filled with joy, connection, and togetherness.
Community enjoyed delicious food, food packages to take home, soothing massages, nail art, music, dancing, arts and crafts, face painting, free clothes and jewellery, and an exciting raffle.
A massive thank you to Island Learning Hub, Enact, Mind, Enfield Carers, and all the other organisations who helped bring this event to life.
Special thanks to our beautiful volunteers in the kitchen, those welcoming everyone at the door, and the multilingual team at the desks providing vital casework support. This day wouldn’t have been possible without your hard work and kindness❤️

Great vibes at the Alma Estate wellbeing pop up on South Road, alongside Enfield Unity, the Community Health and Wellbeing Team, Enfield Council and the Hepatitis C Trust.
Our youth team had plenty of fun getting creative with face painting and arts and crafts.Thank you to our ECP team members who organised the free food packages, giving local people ingredients to cook meals at home.
And, as always, thank you to .project.foodsecurity for your continued support for our community and for such a wonderful collaboration.

When there was a problem with the door at Edmonton Green Library and we had to move our community session to a local cafe. Before we forget, a big thank you to .cafe for kindly making space for us and giving us such a warm welcome❤️

We’re incredibly proud to share that Trevor Blackman has been selected as a Black History Month 2026 Honouree! 🏆✨

For more than two decades, Trevor has worked alongside young people, families, schools and community organisations, helping to create opportunities that open doors to education, training, creativity and employment. 🌱📚💼

Having grown up on a council estate himself, Trevor has never forgotten how much opportunity, encouragement and having people who believe in you can matter. That experience has shaped his commitment to ensuring young people, whatever their background or circumstances, have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. 🌟

From young people finding the confidence to use their voice, to colleagues and community partners working together to create new possibilities, it is these shared experiences that have shaped his journey. 🤝💫

And that is what makes this recognition so meaningful. 🖤

While the honour celebrates Trevor’s contribution, it also reflects the many people who have been part of his journey: the communities that have welcomed him, the colleagues and partners who have worked alongside him, and the young people whose talent, ambition and determination continue to inspire him. 🙌🏾✨

Their stories and achievements are woven into his own - a reminder that meaningful change is never the work of one person alone. 🤝🏾🌍

Bringing the Albany Park Wellbeing Event to life yesterday was an absolute joy. What a fantastic day filled with incredible energy and community connection.
From kids’ entertainment, face painting, and art & craft to nail treats, knitting, and meditation workshops,there was truly something for everyone. Health checks done and listened to our community, and take on local cases to deal with where it’s needed most. What amazing moments we shared together.
A massive thank you to Albany Park Community Café for welcoming us, and heartfelt thanks to all of our brilliant partners and supporters.
