A splashing time was had by all at today's paddleboarding session 💦💦🏄🏄‍♀️. Thank you to our Committee (and funding from 3 local Community Councils) for our new kit, particularly the wetsuits which came in very handy today 😋.

Whilst the,Squadron were supporting the 10km Barmouth Race on Saturday, Sgt Paige Pratley attended the Lord Lieutenant’s training day at Rhyl. Throughout the day she completed a range of activities in preparation for taking on the position of Lord Lieutenant Cadet of Gwynedd this September. This included laying wreaths, interacting with the Lord Lieutenant and getting to know the other Lord Lieutenant Cadets. ‎Awesone work Sgt Pratley and congratulations on this fantastic achievement 👏 👏👏.

Today 2445 Squadron supported the Barmouth 10km run. Cadets and staff managed the athlete’s baggage drop from the back of a van with the weather being far too windy for the marquee! Well done to all who took part 🏃‍♀️🏅

Tonight was the "Great Squadron Bake Off" challenge. The rain held off and both teams worked well to achieve their goal of cooking Welsh cakes alfresco. The end results weren't quite worthy of "A Paul Hollywood Hand Shake" but they looked good and were edible 😋. Fantastic work all 👏👏👏.

Well done to our team who competed in the No.2 Welsh Wing Athletics competition today 🏃🏃‍♀️. A successful day all round with the following medals being won:

🥇🥈🥉Cdt Lumsdon - Gold for Javelin, Silver for 1500m and Bronze for 300m

🥇🥈 Lloyd Evans - Gold for 800m, Silver for 400m

Well done to all the team members 👏👏 and a big thank you to the staff for transporting them.

Congratulations to Cadets Lumsdon, Washington & Williams (F) on completing their Bronze DofE Expedition ⛺️🎒🥾 this weekend in some very warm conditions 😎🌞. Great team work, determination and motivation ... they absolutely smashed it 👏.

A massive thank you to the adult volunteers who gave up their weekend to supervise and assess the expedition 🙌.

Today we were out supporting South Snowdonia Search & Rescue Team at their annual Ras Llyn Trawsfynydd Race 🏃‍♀️🏃. A big thank you to the staff, committee members and cadets who gave up their Sunday to help out at this fantastic event. Well done to all the runners too 🏅🥈🥉. Awesome work 👏 .
