LPOS Welcome to LPOS, a Musical Theatre Society
(Formerly known as Littlehampton Players Operatic Society)

We stage two main shows a year at The Windmill on the seafront. Usually, one of these shows is Gilbert and Sullivan Savoy Opera. Our other shows have included Viennese and French Operetta, American and British musicals and staged concerts of highights from musical theatre.

An amazing evening tonight at Littlehampton Town Council to mark the end of Alan T Butcher’s term as Mayor of Littlehampton and celebrate all that has been achieved over the last year - but with one eye on the year to come and the exciting challenges and opportunities ahead. It was lovely to also meet the incoming Mayor, Maralyn May who we look forward to working with over her forthcoming tenure…We were delighted to be invited off the back of our Merit award (for outstanding musical theatre & inclusivity) and to be asked to sing. We delighted the assembled dignitaries with a specially adapted version of “My Favourite Things” with Littlehampton themed lyrics by Gudrun Lehmann - a perfect opportunity to promote our next show “The Sound of Music” in October. Great to meet old friends and connect with new ones especially Chris from the most excellent Littlehampton Page!!! (Get there now for everything you need to know!) …So very proud of LPOS in everything they do - well done ALL! Sx

LPOS Musical Productions are looking for a youth cast to join the ranks for our next production, Gilbert and Sullivan’s ‘The Pirates of Penzance’. 🏴‍☠️

With chorus singing, dancing, and movement, we can promise a fast moving, funny and energetic production with lots for everyone to do and get involved in! 💃🏼🩰

We rehearse on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Littlehampton Baptist Church, but would look to have all youth involvement on the Friday rehearsals between 7.30pm to 9pm, but can accommodate on Tuesdays as needed.

We will be performing at The Windmill Entertainment Centre from Wednesday 22nd - Saturday 25th April 2026, with both a matinee and an evening show on the Saturday.🌟

There will be a show fee of £40 per child, and no society membership is required.

For more information, and to register your interest, please contact the LPOS Secretary, Jasmine, via [email protected].
