We are incredibly grateful to have received a £1,000 grant from the Chesterton House Foundation, helping us continue to provide vital support to people affected by cancer across our communities.

This generous funding will enable us to cover hub venue hire costs, ensuring we can continue offering welcoming, safe spaces where people can connect, access support and focus on their wellbeing. It will also fund 10 Tropic wellbeing sessions across our hub locations, giving attendees the opportunity to enjoy relaxing, confidence-boosting experiences that support both physical and emotional wellbeing.

As a small charity, grants like this make a genuine difference, allowing us to focus on what matters most – supporting people on their cancer recovery journey.

We're absolutely delighted to share that we've been selected as a finalist for County Charity of the Year at the VAL Awards 2026! 💙

Thyroid cancer is uncommon, but knowing the signs and understanding the facts could make all the difference.

From recognising the symptoms to learning who it affects and why early diagnosis is so important, raising awareness helps more people feel confident about seeking medical advice if something doesn't seem right.

Most thyroid cancers are highly treatable, especially when diagnosed early, which is why it's so important to know what to look out for and encourage others to do the same.

Take a moment to swipe through, learn something new and help spread awareness by sharing this post with your friends and family. Together, we can help more people recognise the signs and seek support when they need it.

💙 If you notice a lump or swelling in your neck, or experience persistent symptoms such as hoarseness or difficulty swallowing, don't ignore them, speak to your GP.
