That was so much fun! Cricket in the park , with local families and children during the summer holiday's. Huge thanks to Aftab, Cricket coach from Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket Foundation and to Kajol Desai for organising the session. Hopefully we'll do it all again next week!

The Belgrave Neighbourhood Co-operative Housing Association BNCHA community garden has made a fully sustainable food hub, selling their home-grown produce to the local community!

With the support of the project, the community garden is helping wildlife in the city, feeding the community and providing a thriving space to host workshops and learning opportunities that support wildlife-focused gardening and wellbeing right in the heart of Leicester🦋

In Loving Memory of Our Dear Friend, Saroj

Today we say goodbye to a truly beautiful soul.

Saroj was a much loved member of our EKTA family. Her kindness, warmth and infectious smile touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She embraced every gathering with such joy, whether she was dancing, laughing or simply enjoying the company of friends.

She reminded us of the importance of friendship, community and living life with a smile.

Saroj, thank you for the happiness you brought into our lives. You will always hold a special place in our hearts, and your beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.

Our heartfelt condolences go to her family and all who loved her during this incredibly sad time.

Rest in peace, Saroj. You will be deeply missed, but forever remembered. ❤️

50 Years of BNCHA – Your Words Mean So Much

As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations on Saturday, we invited everyone to leave us a message, share a memory, or tell us their hopes for BNCHA's future.

The response was incredible. Messages like "A great community that does so much," "Wonderful work – keep it up," "Supporting our community," and "Here's to the next 100 years!" remind us why BNCHA has been at the heart of our community for five decades.

Thank you to everyone who shared a memory, a message or a wish for the future. We'll treasure every single one as we celebrate our first 50 years and look forward to many more.
