💙 What a month! October was Biblio’s busiest month this year — and that’s all thanks to YOU!

Every cuppa, slice of cake, catch-up and visit helps support our wonderful community library. Thank you to everyone who popped in, brought a friend or recommended us — and to our brilliant volunteers and bakers who make it all possible. 🍰☕

Biblio’s is here for everyone, with a friendly welcome, homemade cakes made with lovely ingredients, and prices that leave you change for another visit! A little treat that’s better value than the high street, while supporting something right on your doorstep.

📚 Our library is so much more than books. It’s friendship, conversation, creativity, learning and somewhere to feel you belong. From crafts, stories and Lego to board games, book groups and help with technology, there’s plenty to get involved in, with new clubs joining familiar favourites.

It’s YOU who bring the library to life and make it the beating heart of our village. 💛

📺 Keep an eye on the screen in the library and follow our socials for what’s on, club news and upcoming events.

Let’s make November even busier! Pop in, bring someone along, discover something new — and leave a little room for cake. 🍰

Biblio’s and Harbury Village Library — at the heart of the community, here for all.

💛 Today we’re saying a very big thank you to Peggie as she finishes her last shift at Biblio’s after 12 years with our Wednesday morning team.

Peggie says the best bit has been the companionship and being part of something that’s such a great asset to the village.

Peggie, you’ve been a wonderful part of it all. Thank you for your time, kindness and dedication over so many Wednesday mornings. We’ll miss you!

Fancy being part of it too? We’re looking for volunteers to help with everything from helping out at Biblio’s to social media. If that sounds like your cup of tea, please get in touch — we’d love to hear from you! ☕

📚 Your library needs you!

Harbury Library is a wonderful community resource, and our volunteers make it all possible. We currently have regular gaps on Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings. Could you lend a hand?

💛 Already an occasional volunteer? Perhaps you could take on a weekly or fortnightly shift.

💛 Volunteer fortnightly? Could you make it weekly?

🌱 Garden winding down for winter? Perhaps you could help for a few months until spring calls you back outside!

🙋 Know a friend or relative who might enjoy volunteering? Please spread the word.

📱 We’re also looking for help with our social media—could you help us share the library’s news, activities and events?

If any of this sounds like you, please pop into the library or send us a message for a friendly chat.

Thank you for supporting your village library. Please share this post! 💛

Please be aware this event is now cancelled.
