⛪ 1st Larbert Boys’ Brigade Annual Enrolment Service 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Tryst Church for our Annual Enrolment Service!

We would also like to say a massive thank you to the congregation of Larbert Tryst Church, who very generously collected an amazing £388.24 for 1st Larbert Boys’ Brigade!

Your kindness and continued support mean so much to our company and help us continue providing opportunities, activities and experiences for the boys throughout the year.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our church family and wider community.

Thank you for supporting our boys and helping us keep the BB spirit alive! 💙⚓

🎃👻 HALLOWEEN FUN AT 1ST LARBERT BOYS’ BRIGADE! 👻🎃

What a fantastic night we had as all our sections got into the Halloween spirit! 🕷️🦇

There was plenty of fun, laughter and a little bit (a lot!) of mess along the way! 😂

The boys took part in some classic Halloween games, including apple bobbing 🍎 and the doughnut challenge 🍩, where things got a little messy!

We also got creative with some pumpkin carving 🎃, with everyone getting the chance to design and carve their own spooky creations. There were some brilliant efforts!

It was great to see the boys from across our sections getting involved, having a laugh and enjoying a night full of Halloween activities.

A huge thank you to all our leaders and helpers who helped organise another brilliant evening!

We hope everyone has a spooktacular Halloween! 🧡

🧸💙 Archie’s Adventures with Jaxon! 💙🧸

Our Anchor Boy Jaxon was very excited to take our Teddy Archie home for the week! 🏠🐻

Jaxon and Archie have been having a brilliant time together, and Jaxon even captured some fantastic photos of their adventures along the way! 📸😄

It looks like Archie has had another action packed week and has certainly enjoyed spending time with Jaxon! 💙

A huge thank you to Jaxon for looking after Archie so well! This week Jack is our lucky boy who takes Archie home with him for the week! 👀🧸

🍫🎩 Another great night at 1st Larbert Boys’ Brigade! 🎩🍫

Last night, our Anchors, Juniors and Company Section got stuck into making their very own chocolate Rice Krispie top hats! 😋

The boys absolutely loved getting creative (and probably enjoyed eating the chocolate even more! 😂). Everyone got to take their tasty creations home with them, hopefully they made it there in one piece! 👀🍫

Meanwhile, our older boys had a chat about our annual camp and what we might be getting up to this year… 👀

Could this year’s camp be a little different from our usual trip to Blackpool? 🤔🏕️

Watch this space… 👀

🧸💙 Archie’s Weekly Adventures! 💙🧸

Our Anchor Boy Lochlan was Chosen to take our BB Teddy Archie home for the week! 🏠🐻

Lochlan and Archie have had a fantastic time together, and Lochlan even managed to capture some brilliant photos of all their adventures! 📸✨

It looks like Archie has been kept very busy and has certainly enjoyed his week with Lochlan! 😄

We can’t wait to see what Archie gets up to with Jaxson ! 👀🧸

Well done, Lochlan! 👏💙

🐾 1st Larbert at the Annual Battalion Church Service ⛪️

What a fantastic evening for 1st Larbert Boys’ Brigade as we attended the annual Battalion Church Service alongside companies from across the Battalion.

With this year’s theme being “All Creatures Great and Small” 🐘🦁🐝, each company gathered on stage to proudly show off their company with an animal representing their group! 🐾

A special well done to Lochlan, who was chosen to represent 1st Larbert alongside Ross. A brilliant achievement and a great way to represent our company!

The service went really well, with everyone joining together for an evening of worship, fellowship and celebrating the Boys’ Brigade.

The evening finished beautifully with everyone singing “Will Your Anchor Hold” ⚓️🎶

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising the service, and well done to all our boys for representing 1st Larbert so proudly! 💙

Another great night at 1st Larbert Boys’ Brigade!

Our Anchors & Juniors got stuck into the basics of drill, with a big thank you to one of our King’s Badge boys Xavier, for stepping up and teaching the boys the ropes!

We then put their teamwork and listening skills to the test with a fun game where everyone had to make an animal sound and find their matching animal without speaking! 🐶🐵🐸🦁 There were certainly some interesting noises coming from the hall! 😂

Meanwhile, our Company Section had a busy night too! 🏑 They started with a game of hockey, followed by some drill, before finishing the night with a big game of hide and seek around the church! 👀😂

A big welcome to our new helper, Andi, who joined us for the evening and got involved with the fun too and will hopefully be coming back occasionally to help us out!

Another brilliant night of fun, teamwork, learning and friendship at 1st Larbert BB! 💙

What a fantastic night we had last night!

⚓ Anchors & Juniors got creative making paper boats that actually work with soap! There were plenty of boats sailing their way across the water, with the boys putting their creations to the test!

Company Section kicked off the night with our new weekly BB prayer, before getting stuck into some marching and drill. We then had a quick chat about what the boys want from BB this year and what they’d like to see us get up to over the coming months. Finally finishing off with a game of dodgeball!⚽️

It was great to hear their ideas and see the enthusiasm for the year ahead! 🙌

A big thank you to everyone who came along — we’re looking forward to another brilliant year at 1st Larbert Boys’ Brigade! 💙
