This week the girls travelled away to Normanton Knights and put on an absolutely massive display in both defence and attack..

A huge effort from every single one of them from first whistle to last, showing teamwork, determination, and some brilliant rugby throughout.

A tough game against a strong Upton side this week. Conceding early definitely woke the girls up, but after some honest self-reflection in defence, they pulled themselves together with M Walker leading by example as VC.

Myton walked away the victors with a 42-22 win over Upton ARLFC 💪🏻💪🏻

From there, the girls won the arm wrestle and put in a brilliant final 2/3 performance.

Some outstanding defensive efforts all round today, with a special shoutout to F Hunter for some brave try-saving tackles 👊💥

Between E Knight and M Kelsey, the girls shifted the ball around brilliantly with assists coming from both of them ❤️💚

💚❤️ MYTON WARRIORS U12 GIRLS ❤️💚

Back on home soil this week — hosted over at the Bransholme Bears ground — and the girls delivered another brilliant performance to make it another win, beating Siddal 40–20 💪🏻🔥

A fantastic game with spells of really impressive rugby mixed in with a few frustrating moments that allowed the opposition to capitalise. But once the girls found 2nd gear, they took control and sealed the game in style.

Massive effort from every single player once again!

🏅 Parents & Coaches Player of the Match – C McDermott
Another unbelievably formidable performance in both defence and go-forward.
Leading from the front all game and producing a huge crunching try-saving tackle that lifted everyone around her 👊🔥

🏅 Opposition Player of the Match – E Knight
Another solid all-round display.
Defended brilliantly, marshalled her troops well, and scored some outstanding tries. Her stepping and change of pace proved far too much for their defence to handle 💚❤️

💚❤️ MYTON WARRIORS U12 GIRLS ❤️💚

Another on-the-road win for the girls this weekend, making the trip over to Dewsbury and coming away 34–18 victors.

With football once again depleting the squad, the girls showed real grit and determination — hopefully we’ll see the numbers back up in the coming weeks!

Now we look ahead to a well-earned home game next week.
