Hull CVS Hull CVS supports voluntary and community groups and promotes volunteering in the City of Hull.

Hull CVS is a registered charity that supports the development and sustainability of local charities and causes, as well as leading on volunteering development for Hull and delivering a range of projects to support local residents and communities. Our subsidiary arm, Meeting New Horizons also delivers a range of community projects but within the wider Yorkshire and Humber region. Our core aim is t

The Sector Services Team have had a busy week!

Last Tuesday, Kersty (Sector Services Manager) delivered a Hull4Funding training session, sharing helpful tricks to help groups secure much needed funding.

In the afternoon, Kersty and Eleanor attended the Bengal Brothers annual cricket tournament. Hull CVS supported the group last year to achieve their CIC status, and they’ve since been successful recipients of the Hull CVS Starter Grant. It was a fantastic opportunity to see them in action and learn more about their work.

We also held our 3rd VCSE Thematic Assembly, focusing on Neighbourhood Health in North Hull. Local groups and statutory bodies came together to share their views, ready to be presented to commissioners and partners.

The retailers shown have contributed thousands to community and voluntary led organisations through fundraising platform easyfundraising.

These donations are raised when your supporters, volunteers, trustees, staff and community, do their everyday online shopping. At no extra cost to them.

If you’re not getting a share yet, simply register your organisation as an easyfundraising cause to start getting access to this free unrestricted funding. We're supporting The Peel Project's Community Health Fair on Wednesday 19th August at Peel Park.

With 40+ health, wellbeing and community organisations, the event will offer free health advice, information, activities for children, family entertainment and opportunities to discover the wide range of support available across Hull.

The event is free to attend and everyone is welcome.
