This time next week...
Hitting the high notes in harmony!

Historic Kilmun will be hosting live music on the evening of Tuesday 19th May with the ever popular 8+1 choir set to perform.

Founded over 20 years ago, the choir was set up by John McIntosh and gets its name from the makeup of the group which includes eight women singing under the direction of one man.

After years of adding the odd singer here and there, it is once more a group of eight.

Throughout the last seventeen years, the choir has been entirely self-supporting, with individual members paying a regular subscription to cover the hire of a rehearsal room and the cost of new music.

They sing music from the Renaissance to the present day in a variety of styles.

Tickets priced at £10 are available from Bookpoint in Dunoon or by calling 01369 702377 as well as on the door on the evening.
