✨ Another wish comes true with Charterhouse Make a Wish Project ✨

Today the Charterhouse Make a Wish Project made another special wish come true for one of our dear neighbours June. June’s wish was simple but meaningful to enjoy a meal out and all the little pleasures that come with it, shared with friends and neighbours of the Charterhouse community.

June chose an Italian meal out and Lavianos was booked in Keynsham. June relished every moment of this wonderful afternoon enjoying a delicious spaghetti carbonara, she said it was delicious. 🍝🍕

Experiences like these remind us just how important social connections, friendships and being part of local community truly are.

June created some wonderful memories to teasure, sharing laughter and with good company on this wonderful afternoon. A big thank you to all that supported June and the wonderful welcoming staff at Lavianos.

Charterhouse friends and neighbours enjoyed another wonderful creative session with Abigail’s pottery class.

Everyone was busy creating beautiful handmade mugs to keep and cherish, or perhaps to give as thoughtful gifts to friends and loved ones.

The Friday afternoon class is always a lovely opportunity to be creative, learn something new and most importantly, build connections within the Charterhouse community.

A big thank you to Abigail for inspiring everyone with her creativity and enthusiasm. 💜

Charterhouse friends and neighbours enjoyed another wonderful afternoon at the local Brassmills Pub. There were plenty of smiles as everyone enjoyed drinks, snacks, and most importantly, good company.

It was a lovely opportunity to relax, socialise and connect with the wider community whilst socialising and creating some lasting happy memories. 🍻 ☕ 👫

Recently, Charterhouse friends, family, and neighbours came together for a wonderful afternoon of fun, laughter, and connection.

There were plenty of smiles and a little friendly competitiveness as everyone enjoyed playing Giant Snakes and Ladders, Quoits, and skittles.

It was lovely to see people spending time together, having fun and creating wonderful memories along the way. A truly fun-filled afternoon enjoyed by all. 🎳 🎲 💜

Charterhouse recognised the World Alzheimer’s Day by holding a fund-raising event led by the whole of the Charterhouse community. The event raised £303! Well done everyone ❤️

Charterhouse friends and neighbours requested a sushi tasting experience, and it was wonderful to see the community come together to enjoy a new experience and connect socially 😄

For some neighbours, this was their first time trying sushi, and there was understandably a little apprehension about trying something unfamiliar. Once the concept of sushi and its ingredients were explained, everyone was encouraged to give it a try 🍣🍥

The sushi tasting was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who took part. There were plenty of smiles, plenty of conversation, and even some neighbours bravely mastering chopsticks! 🥢

The afternoon was a fantastic example of the Charterhouse community spirit and their willingness to try new things 😊

Charterhouse "Make a Wish Project" has once again helped make a dear residents wish come true 😊

Having always heard about Glastonbury, one of our neighbours had a heartfelt wish to visit and experience this beautiful and historic place for themselves. We were delighted to help make that wish a reality✨

The day was filled with wonderful moments from spending time taking in the local culture and connecting with the lovely people of Glastonbury followed by a wonderful pub lunch and to top it off a memorable view of the majestic Abbey 💜

Our Charterhouse friends and neighbours enjoyed another wonderful morning at gardening club recently 😊

Everyone got stuck in, replanting containers with beautiful fresh flowers and fragrant herbs, adding a lovely splash of colour and greenery around Charterhouse 🌸🌿🌻🌱🌼

It was lovely way to spend the morning together, enjoying the fresh air whilst connecting socially with the wonderful gardening team, friends, and neighbours, whilst bringing the Charterhouse community closer together 💚

Friends and neighbours of Charterhouse came together for another successful Dave’s Bake’s session. Residents enjoyed making delicious steak pasties and cheese and onion pasties. The freshly baked pasties were enjoyed by all and kindly shared with fellow neighbours 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳🥣

Moments like these help bring people together, build new connections and further strengthen the relationships between neighbours 💜

It was wonderful to see our Charterhouse community coming together, sharing food, conversation, and friendship. Another fantastic bake and a great example of the warm and welcoming community we are so proud of 👏
